Cadron Creek - Sunset Cruise

Post by Gordon Kumpuris » Mon Mar 10, 2014 10:06 am

Hello friends,

With the time change, favorable levels and warm weather, it's once again a perfect time for an after work sunset cruise :kayak: on North Cadron Creek.
Let's meet under the Hwy 65 bridge at 5:00 PM sharp tomorrow (Tuesday, 3/11/14). We'll run shuttle in the dark after we get off the river. RSVP here if you intend to go. :canoe:
If you need directions or more information just ask right here.

Can your vehicle assist with shuttle if necessary? i.e. do you have boat racks or a pickup bed?

Have a rack but I'll be in a car so not a whole lot of extra room.

Just thinking through logistics if it's just the two of us. We can load up my suv w/ racks at the 65 takeout easy enough and drive to the launch site. But at the end of the run we will need to get back upstream to my SUV and if it's just the two of us we won't want to leave boats unattended. If we can put your boat and my kayak on top and the both of us can drive up then we are good. If someone else joins us we are good because we can leave someone else there with the boats while we run shuttle.
Make sense?

I need to see how my early afternoon goes at work, but I MIGHT just be able to sneak away. I won't be able to confirm until about 2:30pm.
