There are multiple new trees down on the Pinnacle Springs to 65 run; 4 if I remember right. One at the start of the rapid before lunch spot, two in the rapid after the geocache site, and one blocking the entire left side of the s-turn rapid - go right. At today's level (2.6) we were able to get by all of them without portaging. They would cause problems in the 3.0-4.0 range and a couple of them probably aren't going anywhere without some help. Other than that it's a winter wonderland out there and a great day on the creek, just make sure to not get clotheslined.

My son and I floated that stretch today at 2.1 and we could get under all of them but the last one. The water was too low to float around so we had to portage on the left side.

We floated from Pinnicle Springs to Hwy 65 today with the water level at 3.3. We had to portage around a tree at the second rapid. We couldn't go over the tree in the S-turn rapid, but the water was deep enough to take a branch around it on the right.
