Not a paddling trip, but a Snowboarding trip.

Post by JTarver » Sun Feb 02, 2014 10:35 am

Ok, as much as I'm dying to go out west to snowboard this season, I simply cannot afford to. Fall may be different, but for now I can only stretch my dollars so far.
That being said, I have 5 days off coming up this month from Feb. 14th-18th. I was hoping to drive up to St. Louis to go snowboard at Hidden Valley. They make their own snow..and have a playpark. The lift tickets aren't too pricey, and it's about a 6.5 hour drive from Little Rock.
I have room for three in my truck..plus gear in the back. I was thinking probably a 2 night hotel stay, snowboard for 2-3 days, then head home somewhere around noon or so tuesday the 18th.

I figured the trip at approx. 300-350 per person..but with four people..probably much less. I was going high side for the sake of numbers. That should cover lift tickets, gas money, hotel, and probably food too. I know it's kinda short notice..but it's still about two weeks out..and it's a day drive trip.
Anyone interested? I didn't calculate gear rental as I have my own gear, but here's a link for anyone who wants to go telling all about the place. http://www.hiddenvalleyski.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's the one in Missouri.

If you're interested let me know. five 0 1- four 1 3- seven 4 0 1

A bit desparate yea. WRC just has tubing from what I can tell.
Either way..I'm having to postpone the trip since ive been so sick lately.
I will post again when I'm able to reschedule.
