I would like to buy or swap for a Bell Yellowstone (solo or tandem) in good or better condition. Found a solo through paddling.net, but the gentleman lives about 1700 miles away in northwestern Montana. Time and expense of the trip alone is prohibitive.
I have a Wenonah Solo Plus to swap, but that doesn't have to be part of a deal.

3 weeks and no responses. Guess the folks who read this want to keep their Yellowstones.
Does anyone know someone ELSE that might have a Bell Yellowstone they might sell?

flatlander44,
Man, I understand your search. I am looking for a royalex Prospector 15 or 16 at a reasonable price (not wanting to low ball anyone, just reasonable) and so far no luck. My good friend and expert deal finder, Eric, found one for me in Minneapolis that I am in line to make an offer for, but again like you driving up there is gonna add more money than I want to spend at this time.
I will keep my eyes open for a Bell Yellowstone for you.
Hopefully we both get lucky before warm spring days start calling us to go canoe camping on the Buffalo!

FYI ... Search Tempest is useful for checking many Craig's lists at once based on your zip code and a distance you specify. That's how I found my swamp canoe in Nashville, TN.

Re: WTB: Bell Yellowstone (tandem or solo)
Thanks for the input. I've got a solo Yellowstone waiting for me to pick up.
Dave,
The Buffalo is the river I was thinking of paddling when I started my search for this Bell. It should handle the Ponca to Kyles Landing run a lot nicer than my Solo Plus. Not so sure about camping out of the canoe just yet. My gear is more suited to car camping.
Thanks again. See you on the rivers this spring!
