Lower Mulberry, Sun 1/19, Trip Report
Couldn't get out today, so I will hit the Mulberry tomorrow. Level should be fine (2.5ish). Gonna float Hurricane to Mill. 7 mile float once we get to the Mul, just not sure how long of a float/drag Hurricane creek will be. I need data for Hurricane Creek, so another section is not an option for me. Should see about 25-50 eagles along this section.
I'm open for time and meeting place. Post up if interested.

Ok. We are going to meet at the commuter lot just north I-40 on AR 215 (Mulberry Exit). We are meeting at 10:00am and will try to set shuttle along the way at Mill Creek. Bring your big racks, as always.

Re: Lower Mulberry, Sun 1/19
What a day, what a turn out.
Went from 3 of us to 12 over night. Glad to see it. Level was great @ 2.5 and the sunshine was plentiful. Rapids/shoals seemed to dominate over pools. Hurricane Creek road was good enough to drive my Saturn down (though I left it at the commuter lot). All and all guessing that we did about a 7.5 mile float with the first half mile getting down Hurricane Creek. Didn't have to drag on HC at this level. Bald Bluff held up to its name as I counted at least 18 bald eagles at one time.
Prophet was there to bail us out in the end, though, thankfully, we didn't need him. Thanks anyways.
Great float, great day,

Hate that I missed this. Spent the weekend at Turner Bend and Sunday on the OHT. Would have loved to have joined in with this group for the Home Run!
