I plan to float Piney from Heltons to Longpool tomorrow.

Will leave Little Rock @ 7 am and will be at Moore's @ 9 am. Have room for another person/boat if you are coming from central AR.

Great day on the river today.

We had two kayakers (Paul Smith and me), one Drift Boater (Stewart Nolan) and one Super Puma raft (Marcel Jones and Jim). Beautiful day with the river to ourselves.

Early morning ice made the descent on the north face of the switchbacks going into Indian Creek valley a little sketchy, but it really was not problem.

Thanks to Debbie Moore and Moore Outdoors for all of their help and their top notch shuttle services.

Looking good guys. I would hazard a guess that drift boats aren't often seen on the Big Piney.

You ought to see them run the Dib as a sweep boat. Quite a sight.
