NW Chapter Meeting Mon 25th, 6:30 Foghorn's
Come join us for our final meeting of the year on Monday Nov. 25th, 6:30 pm at Foghorns across from Baum Stadium.
We are still finalizing the agenda, and will post it up shortly. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are having a meeting this month on the normal day and time.

This will be our last meeting of the year, so that we can leave ourselves free for the holiday season.
We will discuss Winter Paddling, Winter Roll Sessions, Fisher Ford Update, River Valley Christmas Party, and we will have a guest (James Gately) discuss next year's Beaver Lake Games.
Look forward to seeing you this evening.
Kristian

My first time at Foghorns, but I thought the service was terrible, and no meeting room. Why are we there? I'd rather meet at Wendy's. Can we go back to Whole Hog or Jims?

I would definitely second a vote to move meeting place back to Whole Hog, if it's available. Thought setup there was more conducive to having a club meeting.

Just to state some facts...
We are at FogHorn's because Whole Hog did not do table service (making the meetings last longer), had limited choice of drinks (we like beer), and did not offer much for vegetarians.
We tried Mexico Viejo a few times, and the scheduling was always a nightmare (just ask Kristian about it).
Finding places on a Monday night that have good food, good beer, good service, and room for 20-60 people is about impossible.
If there are other venues that we have not thought of in the Fayetteville/south Springdale area, I am sure Kristian and Jon would look into it.

What Ryan said.
I've been playing this game since 2005 and have bounced around to almost every restaurant (that can accommodate us) in Fayetteville. I am always open to suggestions if someone else wants to do the leg-work, but I am done spending my time searching unless we are not welcome at Foghorns for some reason.

I believe the objection to Jim's was the quality of food, but again, if I can't even GET food at Foghorns, than that's worse than bad food. I vote we go back to Jim's, who always took care of use in a timely manner. (FWIW, I think the food at Jim's is okay anyway...)
