Winter Wetland Tour #1. Bayou Deview (Sat Nov 30)
Winter Wetland Tour #1. Bayou Deview (Sat Nov 30)
Bayou Deview is one of the prettiest places in Arkansas. The trail winds through an ancient Tupelo and Cypress forest. Water levels should be very good with some moving water. Very easy paddling but be sure to bring dry clothes just in case. Bring lunch and drinks. We will stop somewhere along the way. Wear hunter orange if you have some.
We will meet at 9:00am at the T Ricks just off Interstate 40 at exit 193 at Hazen, then caravan from there.

I am so excited. Going to throw the spiders and bugs out of my kayak and make it on this trip. Lots of water and a great swamp. Now if the weather would just be decent. Hope my paddles still work.
Thank you Debo!

Debo, what time do you expect we'll take out? Really want to do this one but need to be back in time for company Saturday evening.
You come too.

I've heard that into every life a little of it must fall,
but you'll never catch me complaining about too much of that southern rain.
