I was curious about that too. I guess nothing was organized for this year.

Woohoo! Count me in! Where do you guys want to launch from? The boat launch at I-30 bridge or Burns Park?

I'll be there. Y'all let me know what you want to do.

Hi Christy.
I was thinking about launching from the ramp beside I-30 this year. But if you would prefer to launch from Burns, then I will too. I enjoyed this event last year. Looking forward to it again!

I'm going to paddle, too - the 5K starts at 7:30, so if we are paddling from Burns Park we'll need an early start (and a longer boat). If just at I-30 ramp, 7 a.m. is great - and I'll bring a shorter boat. The weather is going to be perfect.

I am bringing a friend who hasn't paddled much, so I think it is best that she and I launch from downtown. I am going to Little Rock this morning to register for the race and then pick up some pink ribbon for my kayak. I hope you guys make it! See you around 7:30 if you do.

Re: race for the cure oct 19 2013
I have been sick all week and worked both jobs. I'm exhausted but don't want to miss it! My son and I plan on putting in at the Arkansas Boat House (Where we usually take out) and paddling up between the bridges. Hopefully next year my life won't be so CrAzY and we can get a good start on things an have a big crew! Thanks to those of y'all who want to continue doing this. I love it! Not sure what time I'll be there yet, but we will be paddling play boats, I think...just because I'm too tired and lazy to load my other boats tonight! I'll post something in a little while about the time we will be at the ramp at the Boathouse.
