used boat search site?

Post by Lupe » Mon Aug 05, 2013 6:27 pm

Hi there,

I remember someone posted a site a while back that made searching through multiple for sale posts for boats really easy, and thought I had bookmarked it, but apparently I did not. Does anyone know what I'm referring to that can post up a link?

It was some sort of search aggregator specifically for used canoes/kayaks that makes searching sites like craiglist and others way easier.

At least that's the way I remember it!

Thanks

Not a lot of help, but one of the search sites I use when looking for a particular canoe is Yakaz. It can be inexact and hits a lot of ended listings on several sales sites including semesh and Craigslist. You just have to weed through it often.

http://for-sale.yakaz.com/blue-hole-canoe-for-sale" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just sold my boat yesterday, within 30 minutes of posting it ... On the fb page, nw outdoor gear exchange, which is sponsored by Lewis & Clark in nw, ar. They also welcome you to trade the merchandise in their parking lots if you like.
Just in case you are looking to sell a boat!

I know you found the site you were looking for, Heather, but here is another one to keep in your quiver:

http://www.searchtempest.com/

It searches all of the Craigslist pages within X miles Y zipcode.
