Only TEMPORARY tatoos! What's the fun in that?
Seriously, it looks awesome. So glad to see so many people volunteering to help out with this club-wide event!

Looks like Rendezvous is on the same day as the Felsenthal Fall Festival once again. ![Crying or Very sad :cry:](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)

Also, on same weekend as Bikes, Blues & BBQ (for those of us that have other hobbies) which is now the biggest attended event each year in the Natural State.

Shall we move the date? Tell me now and we can make it happen.

Re: Rendezvous 2013 Tentative Schedule of Events
A) you won't make everyone happy
B) Arkansas state fair posts bigger attendance (though not by much) than the estimate for BB&BBQ according to a quickie google
C) FWIW we won't be attending either Felsenthal or the BB&BBQ
D) keep the date, move it, we don't care. We'll come if we can.

Moving it would certainly make life easier for me. I have committed to do things at both events. But, I'm only one person. So it's really up to you.

Rendezvous will stay as planned...sorry for any inconveniences.

Re: Rendezvous 2013 Tentative Schedule of Events
Well said. Any date in Sept. or Oct. in Arkansas will have conflicts out the wazzoo, i.e:
* the Komen race usually being on the same weekend as War Eagle,
* Day of the Dead vs. Diversity Weekend in Eureka Springs,
* every town in the state having some Fall Fest or Harvest Fest or Crafts Fair within a 4-6 week window,
* So-and-so's daughter is on the homecoming court-so-you'd-better-be-at-the-game season,
* Rayyyyzerback seezon,
* Dirt Track Nationals at I-30 Speedway, which I never miss,
* doing all the yard work that couldn't be done in July and August heat vs. grading papers,
* fixing the roof before rainy season vs. grading papers,
* bicycling and disc golf vs. grading papers . . . .
* just to name a few.
'Tis the best time of year in Arkansas for most activities, thus, there will ALWAYS be conflicts. I've missed Rendezvous more times than I've been there, though I always put it on my planner.

Re: Rendezvous 2013 Tentative Schedule of Events
Is there a way to pre-register in case we can't make it down in time Friday?
Re: Rendezvous 2013 Tentative Schedule of Events
Pre-Registration won't be an issue...if you come in late, just camp and catch the volunteers in the morning for gate fee, etc...

Re: Rendezvous 2013 Tentative Schedule of Events
Lots of videos being posted and lots of video cameras on the rivers these days so we know there is lots of footage out there. Also lots of cameras and photos out there too.
Put together your best video edit or photo slide show for the big screen Friday night.
Please keep it in the 5 minute range to allow for more folks to get theirs shown.
To ensure your video / slide show makes it in, please send a finished DVD or disc with the AVI and audio files to me. PM me or email me for mailing address. lajones @ aristotle . net
See you at the Vous!
