Remmel float Saturday, June 22

Anyone interested in floating from Remmel Saturday and some cool water on purpose swimming Saturday. Would like to start at noon and does anyone know what time they start releasing and if it will not be high level as it has been. I know the throwdown is going on so thought it might be the level needed.

Right now it's a 24 hour release at 11,000 cfs. They said once the lake drops to normal then the releases will start at 10am at the normal 3600 cfs

Just a heads up!

The area below the dam is closed off due to the high water (gate locked). I'm sure that they are planning to run full bore release until Friday eve or Sat morn and won't be in any hurry to open the gate anytime soon there after. Saturday's release is to be the normal 3600 c.f.s. but don't know if it will be low flow for the morn or if they will just back it down for the afternoon.

I think Marlo and I would also be interested in a Remmel float on Saturday. I visited with Ted this morning for any guidance he could offer and he indicated things would probably return to normal tomorrow, so Saturday is a good possibility.
