buffalo float June 6-9

Post by mohawklady » Thu May 16, 2013 11:57 am

Planning a trip with my family arriving at Carver on the 6th of June in the afternoon, camping there and running shuttles on Thursday the 6th in the evening, Friday the 7th we will put in at Carver and paddle approximately 13 miles to Skull bluff camping there for the evening. Saturday we will 11 miles to Peter Cave Bluff camping there that night. Sunday paddle the remaining 6 mile to Tyler Bend and go home. This is of course all water levels dependent. If Carver down is not good levels then we will probably put in at Tyler bend and do a float to Buffalo Point. We will be on a three day float somewhere on the river the 6-9th Anyone is welcome to join us, we will be doing allot of fishing and swimming and are going at a leisurely pace. All of you retired people who have grandchildren this would be a good float to have them on, I will be having my 5 yrs old grandson along. Families are welcome also...Duece you and your son?.Cliff be a good trip for you and your sons, Nimrod you and Alisha? Every one is too bring there own food, and weill be responsible for there own safety. Lets do this!!!! I will keep this post updated dependent on weather and water wise Pam Ellwood any questions, 501-241-0214

Pam,

Sounds like a great trip. Wish we could make it but, we get back home from Rec School on the 3rd and Hannah, Yes Little Hannah, has to work the 5th, 6th and 7th. Felicia is the only one who be available and she'll want a few days recovery after Rec School. Ever since that first over-nighter with you, Clif and his boys, clan Crawford's been wanting to camp at Peter Cave Bluff again. Y'all be safe and have fun.
