Log Jam 1.5 miles below Turner Bend

A big sweet gum with a double trunk has fallen across the narrow left channel just below Byrd's Riverside Retreat. There is no way to run this chute now. The traditional route to the right is still passable even though most of the water is now going left. An older couple with their own kayaks flushed through it yesterday and luckily were unharmed. Use Turner Bend as a take out and Big Eddy as a put in to avoid it.
