Why would they need a ride to school? Bust 'em out and take them on a trip that might change their lives!

School got in the way of my talking this trip, too. Guess he will be getting extra education this weekend when I let him play hooky from school to for to canoe school!

The Buffalo is an extra special place: clear water, fantastic scenery, lots of easy play on this section at our level, 3.5 on the Ponca gage. The video shows a lot of it:

It's been quite a few years between this trip and my last one from Boxley down. The river has changed (as rivers frequently do), but the fun and beauty are still there. I was surprised at how many paddlers were out on a Monday, but I guess I shouldn't have been. It was a sunny 75 degree day with good water; more and more people are learning where to put their priorities!

That was really a nice-looking trip! That level, and the beautiful day combined are just my speed, I hope to join in on this one sometime!! Nice video!

The video does an excellent job capturing the trip. I always love being on the Buffalo.
