In regards to theft, it is unlikely that anything would be stolen from the gear swap, but it cannot be ruled out. There is no report of past problems. However, please consider bringing a "bicycle lock" or something similar and lock your items. It goes with out saying that there are no guarantees and there is some small risk involved in a sale such as this. No provision is being provided to watch over the goods.
