Lots of folks are headed to the Cossatot! If you are at the Falls campground between 10 and 11 you will find somebody to paddle and share shuttle with. If you don't want to run the Falls, it is not uncommon to take out above the Falls and then go make a second run down from Ed Banks to the Falls campground.

How long does the run from Ed Banks to the falls usually take?

I'm pondering a commute from Dallas in the morning to run this stretch... Unfortunately I'll have to be back in Dallas Saturday night. I've been waiting for the planets to align to give me a free weekend when there's some water there. Only have a half weekend this time, but I'll take it.

Thanks!

Trey

Usually about 2 hrs, but that is with some play, time for one person to take a dip (swim), and a short snack at the Sandbar bridge. If you just bomb it, less than 45 minutes water time. If time is tight, beg a ride to the top from the Falls campground so you can head out from there.

I hope you're already in the area, or this answer will be too late to help you...

Ah, well thanks for the info, but turns out I wasn't able to make it today. Hoping for another opportunity in a month or so.
