Floating today or tomorrow?
Floating today or tomorrow?
Anybody up for some floating this afternoon? Mulberry? Buffalo (Maybe Ponca to Kyles or Camp Orr)? Maybe West Fork of the White? Everything is still on the rise - I prefer to begin a float when levels are just beginning to fall. What's everybody thinking? Gotta fit a float somewhere in Spring Break.

Re: Floating today or tomorrow?
Tony,
My first ever Buffalo float was in March of 1975 from Ponca, to the Boy Scout's Camp Orr, I'm not even sure if they had established the Kyles Landing CG yet, but am not sure about that. Can you still use the Boy Scout Camp as an access? I drove back down there briefly in 2002, but didn't go near the river for concern of tresspassing. At any rate, it seems like ' it's six or a half a dozen of the other' which is the less steep, and longer of the roads. (and muddy if it's been raining
)
Best Regards
Jim
