Had the pleasure yesterday of getting to see and talk with Al and Ana Donaldson at Two Brothers Canoe factory in Garfield while Al outfitted a new custom trimmed Arkota into an "Alkota". Wished they could have stayed around for supper, but their cabin was waiting and I think they did not want to risk bad weather catching them on the road. Got to drop off a baby present for Ava Penelope Shaw while I was there.

I'll keep my ears and eyes peeled for a bargain Buffalo as well.

Been calling on an advertisement for a "17' Whitesell canoe" out east - Noland never got into LONG boats that I knew of, but the number I had for him is no longer in service so I haven't asked him. Willing to bet it is a Piranha. Might be in good shape being garage kept and not used much. Price was right if you are going east.

Eric,
Thank you so much for the present for Ava! We appreciate your kindness! Wish I could have been there yesterday to see you all. -Louis

I talked to this guy the other day about buying some seats but he talked me out of it. http://www.ky-rafting.com/EquipmentForSale.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; He was a hoot, but I digress. He has a couple of used Buffaloes and one new one. He's in Kentucky, but you might find someone who could help you work out transportation. Cboats has a board for boats that need a ride, and I know such arrangements have been made on here as well.

I checked him out but it would be quite an ordeal to get it here.

Still on the hunt!

Picked up a red Buffalo from a guy in Ft Smith. It was a Turner Bend boat originally. Has a grunge pad up front but other than that it's in great shape. I'm excited I finally found one.
