GoPro lens water droplets

Okay, what's the best way to keep drops off the camera lens...spit, rain-x ?? Tried spit which works on fog on diving masks but not so much on a camera lens...and I don't really feel like frenching my camera every time I get on the river

spit... thats what i do. I dont think you cant get all the droplets off.

Keep the hairy side up. That works pretty good.

Desiccant strips on the inside and RainX on the outside seems to work for us.

When the camera is in the waterproof housing it has a plastic lens. If you have noticed it doesn't shed water as easily, compared to when you first bought it. It's probably because of scratches. Gotta keep your lens safe from harm. The replacement lens kit is cheap, easy to install, and comes with three lenses I think.

Okay, spit works pretty good if you re-apply every couple of rapids

Nathan__that spot on your lens on the falling water footage is tree sap...I found the spot in the video where it appeared. We may have came to that conclusion before but I've slept since then.
