Cossatot bound

Post by JGoodwin » Fri Feb 22, 2013 2:43 pm

Sounds like there will be a ACC mass grouping at the Cossatot this weekend. Have heard rumors of full moon float also but with Harlan involved that could be dangerous on several levels! For sure the Ark-La-Tex group will be there with assorted antics. Dynamic duo will be styling the falls at some point with or without paddlers. Come on out and enjoy the water or just video for the carnage highlights! Better call the White House Restaurant and let them know to expect us.

I wasn't sure if you were serious or not, but I decided this was a very good idea! I let them know to expect a whole lot of folks for dinner tomorrow night for sure. They are considering opening for breakfast on Sunday but hadn't decided yet, so if you go for dinner, ask them if they'll be open.

I've been there when they ran out of good food and pies before, so I decided it was wise to give them the heads up that a whole lot of hungry boaters will be there!

Sitting at the White House right now. I will give them a heads up about tomorrow, but you guys better all show up to eat the extra pies if they make them.

Nobody from NWA? Where is everyone meeting at? I have not been to the tot yet and would really like to carpool down with someone familiar with the area and the river.

I had a great weekend of paddling. Friday my first trip down the Lower Little Missouri, solo. Saturday & Sunday my first runs below the falls on the Cossatot. Thanks so much to Walter and Marcel for your guidance and support. It was the best of trips, Heather Liz and Mitch. Congratulations to Zack, who on planning to quit above the falls ,was talked "one drop at a time, all the way down to the visitor center. BOB
