Post by Regud » Sat Jan 12, 2013 7:07 pm

Don't forget about the annual White River Eagle Float Saturday Jan.19 Everyone is meeting up at the Garfield Store at 9am for coffee and donuts and head out from there. If you got a kayak or canoe, come on out and join us . Here's a short video from last years Eagle Float.

There was a note in the paper today about the eagle count around the lake. Was something about it being a bit above average.

Should make for a good day!

I saw 5 eagles yesterday below beaver. I have been floating the river fishing from the dam to houseman landing. Real nice and usually by yourself. I put our kayaks in at starkey marina last tuesday and fished with a friend to the clifty mouth. Realy nice day.
What time will you be launching and from where to where?
Thanks
Jim

Put her in front and keep telling her that she's doing all the hard work and without her up there, you'd be totally lost and thank her for hauling your lazy a** the whole day.

Liz paddles in the back on that river. It is good practice for her and anyone wanting some experience.

Looks like I will not be back in time to help run shuttle this year. I'm still over in Georgia helping my brother after his stroke.

Out they came. My estimate is 50 people. Weather couldn't have been better. Icicles at the put in and Eagles at the take out.
