Those following on Facebook already know some of this, but:

Debo and I went to investigate and found the piece you were talking about. Since the piece was relatively light, we just grabbed it while we were there. About two weeks ago some of us spotted a highway barrel in the Saline, but decided we would come back and get it another day. But the next time I was there, it had already floated downstream and it took some effort to relocate it. I didn't want to make that mistake again.

Location of the rest of the porta-jon remains unknown. If it is not raining Sunday, that might be a good day to float from Clinton down to the top end of Greers Ferry (2 miles???), to look for the rest of the porta-jon and see a river I've never seen. After Sunday, it is going to be pretty cold for a few days.
