It's ON for Thanksgiving week!! Probably spending monday thru thursday on the water!
We got a river board and fins to play with in addition to our boats.

I had the whole place to myself Saturday night. It's hard to beat this time of year! Watch out for the two barely submerged rocks on the river right eddy line. I spent some quality time getting up close and personal with them!

The water fall is 14 feet. It is safer if you drop off it without a paddle. You hike your boat up and seal launch off. Unfortunately it is not part of running the river. It's still fun! p

Worth the short eight-hour trip (from Springdale) for sure.
My only problem, I am not experienced enough to ride a wave that size... The scenery, elephant ears, Cypress and cedar trees. An amazing winter getaway indeed.
