wanted: paddle
Re: wanted: paddle
Looks like i may need yo do some research on paddles
Re: wanted: paddle
Thats realy somethin that you need to do for yourself. You need to decide how far you want to go and then research and gear yourself accordingly.
But?? What the hell, you asked.
Still dont know what kind of paddle your wanting?? flatwater or whitewater?
Im going to assume its whitewater.
Since it seems your fairly new a full blade is probably not a good choice. They grab allot of water. Better for a more conditiond paddler.
As I said, what you should buy depends on your commitment to your paddling.
If you just want a entry level stick, 4 corners riversports and CKS have the werner RIO for $130+ ship, 0 tax.
Fiberglass infused plastic blades. Fiberglass shaft. Good starter.
A little better, Werner Desparado.. Carbon infused plastic blades. fiberglass shaft $170 at just about any retailer.
Carbon will take a bit more abuse than fiberglass but??? its a personal preferance.
If you are Realy commited to being a boater... my first suggestion of the Doubble diamond. A steal at $250 +ship
Last dam near forever especaly since I figgure you wont be dropin in on any class 4-5 for awhile
