I'll second Rogers Birthday wishes Dave. I know you'll be so very happy to get home! Currently, tonight, we have a 'Blue Northeaster' blowing in here, the temperature has dropped from 85 this afternoon to about 56 at 9:30p.m. now. What I really miss is your weather report from Jenks...
Best Regards
jim

Happy Birthday David - and many moreeeee. Seriously, you are in our thoughts daily. Cooler temps here have me thinking of gravel bar camp fires even if I can not go yet. Hope that is a warm image for you to remember.

Mr. Dave,
We're new here - just this-year paddlers - so we've come to know you just from from reading the thread about your summer trip, and your injuries, and your fight to get better. We've asked questions, we've listened to your friends' stories, and we've talked about what a remarkable person you are.
Happy birthday! We're looking forward to meeting you soon.

Happy birthday Mr. Dave. I don't understand all the carping about your age. I mean, turning forty is not that big a deal.

Get better soon please. There are gravel bars on the Buffy calling your name.

You come too.
