I'd be glad for you to come along and take part in the fun; I paddle Class II-II+ stuff including the upper, upper Cossatot, the Little Missouri and assorted creeks. Tell me where you have paddled before, what the water level was, what kind of boat you have, and what you carry with you when you paddle. Where are you located? Are you free to paddle on Friday or Saturday?

I paddle a C-1 (a kayak converted to a canoe) and always carry a throw rope, some very basic first aid equipment, extra layers of clothing made for whitewater (a light jacket this time of year), something to drink, my lunch, a knife, a whistle, and a saw. I may add a skull cap and some rescue blankets. I rarely use most of that stuff, but have used all of it at one time or another.

The rain projections keep changing, so I'm not sure what direction I will head from Little Rock when (if) the rain finally arrives.

Well captain, thanks but it doesnt look like it will be a go. But the water will come up, eventually. Then we will shred! I paddle a dagger g ride or a liquid logic lil joe. I dont usually bring much but thats just because i do alot of park and play. I have not done a big river yet but i am ready and i catch on alot faster than your average paddler. Im not trying to sound ostentatious, I only mean that when i set a goal i dedicate every ounce of my being to it, thus progress is made faster than a slacker paddler lol.
