Maps

Post by c8mb » Wed Aug 22, 2012 3:12 pm

I thought these map sites may be of interest to some...

http://www.jdmcox.com/
The above are all USGS topo maps. Just read the instructions after downloading.

This site is to see the coordinates of where you want to go or to find where you've been.

Cheers!

Al,
It looks like the site used by the first link for the actual maps went off line in May 2012, so does that one still work? I couldn't find it in my first few minutes of searching, but it did lead me to another useful link,
http://nationalmap.gov/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the links!

After I posted that, I realized that Acme Mapper had all the same topo maps anyway.

FYI all, I started my own GIS Mapping and Consulting Co. this year. Work is slow at the moment, so I would have the time to whip up some specialty maps for my brothers and sisters in the ACC. Just hit me up if you have some ideas..
