I know there is a lot of Rockport paddlers on here so my question is wheres is at? and when is a good time to go up there?

It varies. They provide recreational releases from Memorial day through Labor day on the weekends. With the drought they have been releasing from about 12-3 which only gives you about an hour of good water.

Some years the releases will be for most of the day.

Entergy sends out weekly emails listing the releases. You can go to their website and sign up for them. Look for a 3600 CFS release from Remmel Dam in order to have good water at rockport.
