Shores Lake to White Rock Road Open

Post by Half Ton » Mon Jul 23, 2012 11:41 am

If it ever rains good again, it looks like a few more paddling options are more easily attainable now.

The Ozark Highlands Trail website showed that the Shores Lake to White Rock Road is now OPEN again :yahoo:

Great news! Sure will cut down on all the shuttling for floating and backpacking.

There were two road closures on White Rock mountain road. The one west of Bliss Ridge road is the one that was between shores lake and White Rock. The one east of Bliss Ridge road is the one that affected access to Spirits Creek. I wonder if they've both been cleared or just one?
