Arkansas River Clean up

8a.m.-1p.m. –Arkansas River National River Cleanup– Lake Dardanelle State Park is providing an opportunity on National River Cleanup Day for people to come together to make a big impact. Registration for the cleanup will start at 8 a.m. at the visitor center with the cleanup ending around 1 p.m. Please remember to wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty and wet. Just a few hours can make a big difference. If you would like to volunteer please contact Elizabeth Drake at 479-890-7479.

I have helped with this in the past. It is a blast . I use my canoe and we could use a few more canoes or whatever boat you have . I've added a link to my photos from a past clean up.

Anybody going to show up on the National River Day Clean up at Lake Dardanelle State Park this Sat. Morning? I just washed my in anticipation of taking part. There are as of now plenty of Kayaks available so you wouldn't even have to take a boat.

Motor boat will motor you across the lake to the clean up area, me, I may paddle across with a deep line in the water

It will be an adventure I'm sure of that. And they feed us lunch.
