It's really fun cause it's the only action we have around here this time of the year: http://www.ozarkpages.com/cgi-bin/crfind.pl?Fishers" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's at 3.1 feet right now.

It's a great place to work on technique with a real WW feature.

It's really more of a "Park-n-Play" situation. We surf and play. There are several miles to float on the illinois. Sort of a last resort though. But it's time for last resorts with this weather.

if you put in at chamber springs rd, it is about a 4ish hr float (with stops) to fishers ford. It is close to town and a good float with a prize at the end. you can make it about an hour or less float from the hwy 16 bridge to fishers ford.

Is floatable currently from Robinson road (4 miles upstream of chambers springs), and chambers to the ford is about 6 mile and then from the ford to hwy 59 is about 3 miles.

So about 13 river miles or so here in NWA right now.

When the water is up enough you can head to the headwaters in hogeye which adds about 20 more miles of floating.

I'm not sure how many more are in OK but nearly 60 would be my guess.

Great for fishing also.

Right off Oklahoma 59, you can put in at the Redneck Yacht Club and float for 8.5 miles. For $10 they'll meet you at the low water bridge and bring you and your boat back to the Club. Good, easy paddling with no dragging at 3 feet on the gauge.
