I was at the city volunteer lunch a month or two ago......and was the only ACC person there. So I picked up this certificate of appreciation for NW ACC.
Originally, someone other than me signed up the NW chapter for adopting a part of the Scull Creek Trail.
Seems like the city lost their contact info.....
Anyways, if anyone would like to take over the Scull Creek Cleanups for ACC NW -Chapter feel free to do so. Just give me a pm, and I will send you the new volunteer coordinators info so that you can let them know who you are and how you can be reached. If not, I can keep the responsibility BUT just wanted to offer it up to anyone that might be interested.

Thank you John!
I know you spent plenty of time planning and running the clean ups this past year.

Since our free supply time frame has run down I went ahead and submitted this as KAB/GAC event for April 23rd.
I will go ahead and fill out the city paperwork on Monday unless someone else would like to pick this 3 cleanup a year coordination. If you want it don't be shy now!
This will not be as big as they have been(100 +), but will not be as small as they have been(2).
We will invite folks from the community and other organizations to come on out and help.
Maybe food and for sure a few doorprizes. What time would be a good start time for you all that might want to come???

Thanks to many outstanding supporters our small cleanup has GROWN a little bit....
We are going for the whole creek instead of just our adopted stretch at this point
Can anyone work one of the check-ins from 3:30 to about 5:30? If so just give me a pm and tell me what kind of

you might want for your efforts.

Nice Job NWA ACC!
We had the second most participants out at the event with 9 signed in. Only the Fayetteville Natural Heritage Association had more with 14.
In total we had 74 out and 25 community organizations involved.
We pulled out only just a hair under 400 lbs this time which is a big improvement from years past with 2 tons and 1 ton being our total haul.
WE are making a difference in our efforts and teaching others how to get involved and do the same.
Here's to us
