New Guy

Post by plastic worm » Wed Apr 18, 2012 9:30 pm

Just wanted to say hello. Been on here for about a year and a member almost as long but never taken the opportunity to introduce myself. I live and paddle mostly in SeArk (Felsenthal area)...mostly I just fish from my kayak but I do get up to the Buffalo a few times a year. Anyway...love the community and hope to tag along on a few trips...but don't wait for me b/c I'll be fishing (catch-n-release). See you on the water.

Welcome aboard my friend. One of my favorite things in the world is float fishing the Buffy from Dillard's Ferry to Rush. Keep an eye on the rec section for developing trips.
You come too.

Well good to hear from you! Some of us have paddled in Felsenthal and I have attended the Fall Festival there and brought some boats for people to try out. The kids really love it. We even camped on an island there once. Very nice!

We are working on a paddle trail in Bayou DeView right now that I think you would really enjoy. Hope that you can join us sometime. I plan to post a trip over there soon.

I did see a group down here last year...however it was after the event...I remember looking at the pictures. Seemed like a great day...wish I gone.

Just looked at the photos from Bayou DeView...very nice, may have to make a trip over there.

Hello PW, nice to have another paddler in the South Arkansas area. You left some info at my post about the Lock 6 dam. Felsenthal is becoming one of my favorite areas to explore. Hope to see you on the water.
