HI all, I've recently begun started thinking more seriously about rigging up a roof rack for my truck and looking for a couple of kayaks for myself and the better half (plus a canoe at some point for duck hunting). I've been lurking on here for a few weeks and just wanted to say hello.
I wouldn't call myself very accomplished with a paddle but I've enjoyed a tump in the Buffalo, sunk a crawdad bass fly in my leg on the Illinois, and dragged across some shoals on the Kings and Mulberry.

Welcome, XR2 !! I hope you know your life will be forever changed with that membership? You'll meet some of the nicest folks here, a few strange ones, and a couple of outstanding-all-around ones . . . each with something that will make your trip down the river a time to be remembered.
See you on the river.
