Hi Louis,
The trip to Eminence sounds good. I also will try to make it. I just met up with Minna today in Conway. She bought my Mohawk Solo 13, so she will have a new toy to play with up there that weekend. Sounds like a lot of the same folks from the Kyles campground last Fall will be there. I also got to paddle with Karla and Gary again at the Rendezvous back in September. Looking forward to it.

Trip is still on exactly as planned. Driving up Thur 19, paddling 20 - 24. Circle B office is open, we have tent sites reserved for thr group. Gary & Karla, Minna, Liz, Chris (Eureka Springs), Phil, Minna, 4 or 5 from Louisiana, maybe 1 or 2 more. I'll post an update by Tuesday.

ps to Jan: I'll be ENJOYING RUBY'S the next three days!! Going to Eminence today hike & show my wife the area before we bury her mother's ashes near Poplar Bluff Saturday (passed in November), so I'll be making the drive twice in a week.

LOUIS!! I was in Ruby's yesterday, too!!! My son & I got the last of their blackberry cobbler around 3p.m. I've been getting my place on Spring River at Hardy ready for summer. Wanted to show my son Eminence (he keeps my dog while I'm in MO). I just came home tonight to get more stuff to take back to Hardy tomorrow. I'm staying in Hardy some nights during the Eminence trip.

I went by Circle B. They have almost finished the new rooms. There are 3 buildings, each with 3 "motel" rooms. They were just beginning to stain the siding.

We must have missed each other by just a few hours in Eminence. I hope your wife liked the area.

My daughter is having back surgery Apr 18 so i cant come. I had been looking to this trip all year. Louis,are u still thinking of a buffalo adventure in May? Yall are gonna have aq blast!

I'll be going up on the 19th and would like to camp if theres room, or if the campsites are full, if it's alright to hike down a trail a little ways and set up a tent. Sounds like a fun trip. - David

M. Strobel and I are driving up Thursday, expect to arrive by 6 to set up tents. M. Stanley will join us, arriving by motorcycle about the same time from a business trip in Dayton, OH.

Unfortunately water is low for April but floatable. For Fri - Sun we'll plan on Cedargrove to Akers on the Curent, Bay Springs to Eminence on the Jacks Fork, Cane Bluff to Greer or Turner Mill on the Current, then choose other sections for Mon - Tues.
