14' Cataraft and Frame

Post by Orville L Wright » Fri Nov 25, 2011 10:45 am

I have for sale a 14 foot x 24 inch diameter tubes Payette Cat and frame.
The tubes were made by Maravia for Payette Cats of Idaho. The tubes are in great shape, with no patches or leaks anywhere on the tubes.
The frame is 8 feet long x 6 feet wide with 30 inches between the tubes. The frame is galvanized and has four bays. There is a drop bag area, rowers compartment, another open bay, and a cooler bay. The frame breaks down for travel/storage.
It has a nearly new high back seat with a drain hole, two NRS oarlocks, a pair of oar tethers and all the straps you need to rig the cat out. Also included are two tarps and straps for storage of the tubes.
I'm selling because I just bought a larger boat. This setup will make someone a great starter boat.
The price is $1,200.00. If you need oars, the price is $1,400.00.
If interested call Orville Wright at 479-six four three-two six five five.

This would be a great buy for someone who wants to do longer/bigger trips! I'll bet you'd throw in the price of a couple of Permit Applications as part of the deal, too, wouldn't you?? Maybe the Yampa and the Middle Fork?? Or an early San Juan?

Not to hijack the thread, but what did you buy to replace it? Crane

Good deal on the raft! Let's go to the Middle Fork!

Oh, wait, I'll be changing diapers and not going anywhere for a couple of years. You guys have fun without me. :)

Dave and Cindy,

That is a nice raft and especially right sized for the Lodore run.

Lodore is one of my favorite runs have fun and decide early on to go left or right at hells half mile entrance!!!!!

Last afternoon run to the take out is gonna be fun, square up and hit those waves full speed!!!!!
