Price really depends on brand and condition. Also I'm in Harrison and willing to travel a little

Cool. Check with Buffalo Outdoor Center for used Buffalo 16s. Conditions will vary. Also check with Ozark Mountain Trading Co. In Garfield. They sometimes have used boats, but I was so pleased with how they treated me I ended up buying a new one. Two Brothers Canoe makes top quality boats in Arkansas. They are available at OMTC and Gaither Mountain Kayak. Pretty sure they're less than a grand. If that's not in the budget keep an eye on Paddleswap.com. You'll find what you need. Happy hunting.

Understood. I'd check with BOC then. I had the pleasure of meeting one of your wife's cousins last winter when I picked up a demo Arkota.

Ya good guys... I got the chance to paddle that boat on the buffalo last year. What did you think of the boat?

I liked it a lot, but I wanted something with a little more initial stability for my nine year old. Also, she really wanted a purple boat.

Has great initial and secondary stability. My daughter feels very comfortable in it. She can sit across the floor and lean against either gunwale without the boat feeling tippy. Just seems to roll a tiny bit and stop.
