Paddling on Friday?

Post by Renee H » Wed Mar 21, 2012 4:14 pm

I took the day off and have a friend coming up to try out her new creek boat. I was thinking Hurricane Creek will probably still be there and be a good creek to run before Richland. Anyone else interested in boating? We will probably go to Richland Saturday if it is still there.

Plan to leave out tomorrow early to try and find something within reasonable levels and stay through Friday at least. Been awhile since I've been on Hurricane. Maybe stay for Saturday. Will be bringing the Shredder and the Option. Will watch your plans!

Hey Roger & everyone else! I talked to Michelle and since I have to work some tomorrow, I am going to try to cut out a little early and meet her at Snow Creek/Illinois Bayou about 3ish. I am guessing the level should be around 10-12'. Then we are headed up to Richland to camp out and she is going to give Upper Richland a try. If she changes her mind, I will run Upper Friday morning and then do Lower with her. So that's the loose plan for now. Where you headed tomorrow?

Was looking at hailstone but Falling Water looks good now. Headed that way now (5:30 a.m.)

We had a good weekend! Snow Creek/Illinois Bayou Thursday, Falling Water (which I haven't been on in several years) Friday, Upper Richland Saturday and Lower Richland today! Hope you had a good weekend as well.
