Last Saturday while me and my wife was in line at BOC we overheard the lady next to us getting a shuttle set up. She and her dog was leaving from Ponca that day and taking out at Rush in 10 or 12 days. When the river gets closed are floaters like her found and pulled off until it's safe?

I had a friend last May who found himself in flood. Lost his rented canoe but he had a cell phone. Took three days before they could get to him. Canoe was later recovered.
We are all afflicted with Cognitive Dissonance. The greater our religious, social, financial or political affiliation, the greater the affliction. We hear what we want to hear. We believe what we want to believe. Truth becomes irrelevant.
