Sunday 3/25 Tot

A group of us are heading to the Tot from Little Rock/Hot Springs...departure and arrival times TBD (hint: it won't be the crack of dawn).

I'd like to go! I haven't had a chance to run the tot yet. If anyone leaving from LR has an extra seat I'll chip in for gas.

We can probably find room. Looks like we will aim to meet at the Falls at 10:30am, so we'll be leaving LR by 8am. Haven't settled on carpool plan, so check back, but I think we could meet somewhere off of 430 to consolidate vehicles or to caravan.

I'll post more later after we settle on the details!

Me and a buddy from shreveport might head to the tot tomorrow, we'd love to paddle and help with shuttle; the weather today on the tot was magnificent ....don't ask why I'm making the trip twice in one weekend ...

Mark and Hayden Stolki and I are heading there tomorrow. I was there today and if I was a sharper knife in the drawer, I'd have thought to take camping gear. Anyway, Not in a huge hurry. Leaving LR about 8:30. Anyone interested in meeting setting shuttle at hwy 278 takeout. Did this today and it was great. I personally HATE to carry my boat out from below the Machine. Getting too old for ordeal.

We decided to push back our meet time at the falls to 11am as well.

I'm hitching a ride already...Gordon: would you guys have room for Zach? If not post back and maybe we can still find room.

We have five meeting at the Falls and most of us plan to just go Ed Banks to the Falls, but we do have one guy coming who might be interested in going all the way (open boater Chicago Bob), so he might want to go with you all to 278.

This will be my first time down the Esses since my nerve injury, so very excited and just a wee nervous!

Heather, call Gary before you leave LR. He will meet you at the Mcdonalds just off the highway at the Alcoa Rd exit and be there waiting for you to give you the helmet I borrowed (Thanks so much for letting me use it) That way he will be there and won't take 5 minutes of your time to pull off and back on the highway 30 there at the McDonalds. You will see across the highway on south side the Target, Best Buy, etc. The McDonalds is on the north side at the Alcoa exit before you get all the way into Benton. His # in case you didn't get it when I called tonight is 315-0503. Thanks again and you all have some fun for me. I am not sure what is going to happen yet with me, but lower back pain is a big issue and am paddling some but not sure if I will end up with surgery or just what.

Ok. planning to meet mark at kroger on chenel at 8:00 then go pick up his son in midtown which would put us on the road by 8:30. We can meet you at Kroger or perhaps somewhere just outside of town like the Alcoa McDonalds mentioned in an earlier post. However, from the looks of things people are not meeting at the falls until 11:00 so I may push back the kroger rendezvous til 8:30. call at 7:30, we'll sort it out. I'd still like to run the lower stuff below the falls so if anyone is wanting to do that call me. 501-944-0480
