Off all week in NWA

Post by Juggleman » Mon Mar 19, 2012 2:49 pm

Sorry for my first post to be a new thread, but I didn't see any thread I could put this in.

I finally joined the ACC last year and have yet to meet anyone in it or do anything with my membership. I'm off this week on Spring break (I'm a teacher) and I would like to maybe shuttle some paddlers and watch tomorrow. If the water levels have lowered enough I'd like to float something on Friday and/or Saturday. I have a prius, don't yet have a boat, but I may have one in a couple days!

I'd say I'm an intermediate level paddler. I've floated the buffalo probably 30 times or more over the past 10 years, done the mulberry 15-20 times, the Kings a couple times, and I rafted a class IV last summer in Colorado (Clear Creek).

I've heard good things about Frog Bayou and would like to float that maybe Friday or Saturday. Really I'd float anything that doesn't have way too much water on Friday or Saturday.

Any advice or comments are appreciated. :beer2:

Free shuttles are always welcomed  I'll bet this week is the best week to be a teacher wanting to paddle on spring break EVER!
