Trying to pick between Piney, Mulberry, or Buffy.

Either way.. We're getting out!

I'm heading to Dillard's Ferry to float to Rush. Have a couple of people going with me, maybe 3. Posted on other board.
It's 6.76 on the Harriet gauge. It should be OK with or without rain. Unless it's a lot of it.

I really need to get out and float some this weekend also. The Caddo is falling by the hour at present. If we get a little rain tomorrow to boost the level, I'd be interested in floating from Caddo Gap to Glenwood. If it looks like the Caddo will be less than 6.30ft. on Saturday, I'd suggest a trip on the Upper Ouachita River from Ed's Place down to the Dragover take-out access. We'll keep an eye on the weather and know more on Friday evening.
Best Regards

Hey Karla, Gary, and Minna. My wife and I just paddled the Kings up here by Eureka Springs yesterday and it was Great! Water is up nicely. No dragging. Looking forward to seeing you all in Eminence, Mo. in a few weeks!

Chris, which section did y'all float? Kings River was my first river to paddle and I still love it. I like any of it from Hwy 62 bridge to Stoney Point. I always wonder why I don't see more trip reports on the Kings, since it is really a nice float.

In addition to some AR water, the Saint Francis in MO is on the rise and looks like it'll be perfect for class 3 on Sat. Rain Sat night could set things off pretty big on Sun, but then there are several smaller creek options from class 2 to 4.
