If no luck here, I suggest you take a look at ski bags.

I have used the standard kayak paddle bags which are good but expensive.

Ran across a ski bag that was better padded, more pockets and way cheaper as it was on sale whereas the kayak special bags do not normally go on sale.

The ski bag became my choice for travel. It also gets less questioning from ticket agents especially if the bag has a big Ski Logo on it's sides.

Great, thanks Okieboater! It sounds like a ski bag is just a better choice.
I am looking for a ski bag now! Thank you :D .

Someday... I want to go... there was a great article in Kayak Session last year on Ecuador. Perhaps it is on thier web site since it is now a older article.

I am not sure that I can go until my daugther starts school in a couple years.

I got last week a catalog froom a boundary water outfitter.... I think I saw a paddle bag in there for $50.

For me my boats are more personalized than my paddle.
