cheapest creek boat shipping
cheapest creek boat shipping
I need to ship a Nomad 8.5 to Colorado, so far Forward Air is the cheapest I can find at 80 dollars. I have used Greyhound before for a playboat, any of you know if they ship Creekers as well. Fed Ex was expensive. I tried USF Dugan but I guess they are no longer in business, they had other carriers but I was confused on which one I was supposed to be using. Do any of you know of a better carrier?? Thanks, Hahns.
Re: cheapest creek boat shipping
From what I understand Greyhound limits the length of the parcel to 7 feet so most creek boats can not be shipped by that means.
Forward Air has been the best for me in the past.

another vote for Forward Air. I have had good luck with them. 80 bucks seems to be the standard rate I see these days.

Thanks Max and Dave, I appreciate your responses. I figured was probably still the way to go, just didn't know if something better had come along. Hahns

I used http://www.freightquote.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to ship a canoe to Montana via LTL trucking. Was the best deal I found at that time. I got a better deal when I called direct vs. what was quoted to me online.
