Dave, this is going to be just a day float. It is going to get windy on Sunday. I may spend the night but that is doubtful. Are you thinking about coming. I hope so. Rodger will be showing off his new dry suit.

Am I missing something? I get "the meet at 10:00am" part, but is it at Baker Ford or at the Tyler Bend Visitor Center?
Thanks!

A bit too far from Tulsa to drive for a day float. I am hoping the weather stays warm for 2012 over night Buffalo Floats. Me and Deuce need to do a Buffalo gravel bar pineapple upside down cake DO cook off then visit and chow down around a camp fire. Should be a good time for everyone.

I hope Roger just tests his dry suit maybe at the take out. Dry suits will work even in below freezing conditions given proper fleece liners and sewn in feet with wool sox. Just remember the only thing around your neck is latex which has zero insulation and that is what got me back in 1991 January experience.

I have been a Kokatat Gore Tex dry suit owner for many years and feel they are expensive initially but over the years they work and last.

You guys enjoy and give thanks you live so close to the Buffalo and other fine Arkansas streams!!

Dave, I am very grateful to live as close as I do.

Jan, sorry about the confusion. We are meeting at Baker Ford. It would be good if we could be there a little early so that boats and gear are unloaded and we are ready to run shuttle at 10AM. Running shuttle will take about an hour and we hope to be on the water by 11AM.

So be at Baker Ford, unload gear and be ready to run shuttle at 10am.

My boats are on the car and I am ready to roll. :)

FYI, the Buffy is pretty well cookin' down there. Fun level. I floated Woolum to Tyler Bend in a total of 3.5 hrs today! We weren't even pushing.

I'll be taking my bride (of almost 14 years) from Woolum to Gilbert tomorrow so we'll likely catch y'all.

We saw 2 otters, 2 grey foxes, and numerous Bald eagles today on some gorgeous sparlkling green water.
Cheers,

Jason

The only change I would have made was my decision to go home Saturday night. I never get tired of the Buffalo. Thank you all for making the end of 2011 special.

I think I am going back on Thursday.

Richard, do you know put-in & take-out yet? What time are you thinking about? I'm wanting to go again if I can work it out.

Are you known about schedule for all the Moon phases for 2012? I am looking for moon phase calendar for 2012. Please suggest me from where I can get it.
