Monday Float 01/16/12

I am looking to float on Monday if anyone has off and wants to make a run close to Central AR. I am thinking Saline (close to Benton) or Cadron. Let me know if anyone is down. Wish I could make one of these Cadron or Cove floats on Sat. or Sun. since I have never floated them.

I'll paddle Cove Creek or Cadron on Monday although I am not familiar with put-in(s) and take out(s) on Cadron. I'm sure Cowper or another person that has doen Cadron a lot can chime in and help out with those options.

I would like to try and do Cadron Creek from either 124 to Pinnacle Springs or Hwy 65 to Hwy 285. Im not sure where everyone would be coming from but I would be coming from Benton that morning. Maybe we could meet at one of the takeouts and go from there. How does meeting around 9:00 and trying to be on the Creek by 10:00 sound? My number is 870-404-9471 if you want to call or text.

Bump, Still would like to hit Cadron tomorrow if anyone wants to go. Would also be up for any other suggestions.

I'll probably be down to paddle tomorrow but I don't know if I want to get that early of a start. Let me know what the latest time you would want to meet would be. Also, is Cadron still a decent level?

Torpedo, I am flexible on time tomorrow. I just want to get on the water. Anytime is good. Cadron looks like it has been holdin at 2.9 most of the day so I think it should be good tomorrow. Do you have a section you would prefer to do?

the sections mentioned above will be loooong floats with low levels.... not a lot of current in pools. Give yourself plenty of time. Bridge between 124 and pinnacle springs.. maybe... stories of not friendly landowners there.

If you float strait thru... u may be ok. If you like surfing etc... better stick to pinnacle to 65 run. Have you done these before? If so i will shut up

Which section did y'all float? I'd like to do Hwy 65 to Hwy 285 again. Maybe when it's not as high as it was when I went last time. I don't know what it looks like this year, though. Probably several trees down. I haven't heard Chain Saws R Us reports on it . . .
