Got a week's paddling set on Missouri's Jacks Fork, Eleven Point, Current River April 20 - 24. We'll paddle all three streams including some higher up sections if there's normal spring water. Base camping at Circle B Campground just out of Eminence, Mo, where they also have cabins and rooms. Day trips except we will work in an optional overnighter on the Jacks Fork.
Paddling beginning Friday 20 (driving up the 19th). Come for all or part of the trip. More details in February, all welcome,
louis c

I'm in. May not paddle every day, but I'll be there! An overnighter sounds great. I've never camped out of my kayak. Thanks, Louis, for planning this trip. See y'all there.

C'mon, Clif! If your mama will let you out to play with us, you oughta go to Eminence. We always have a great time. (Even though it was rainy & cold a couple of days when we were there in October.) I haven't seen you on the water in a 'coon's age.

That is a beautiful time to be on the Missouri River Ways. Dogwoods are in full bloom.

Clif:
It'd be a pleasure to show you these rivers. Beautiful scenery, nearly constant year-round moving water--a great trip. Should you have to miss April (hope to paddle upper sections and see dogwoods), we'll be doing a fall trip there (fall colors, guaranteed water since it's spring fed) October 15 - 19. You've got to see and paddle these rivers!!
And, I have a mid-Buffalo trip based out of Tyler Bend May 14 - 19 maybe you can paddle a day or two then too. Gotta plan ahead and get lots of trips in in case the Mayans are right about Dec 21.

Gary and I plan to be there, probably come up on Friday, leave Monday. But would like to do the other rivers we didn't get to do last time. We did the Current only.

Karla:
Super!!
I will arrange the schedule so that you and Gary (and hopefully Jim and Marlo) will paddle Eleven Point & Jack's Fork if you only get two days. I'll stay in touch, tell Gary it's great y'all are coming, price of my "trip planning services" is a good joke each day on the water.

Ann:
Very pleased you're going again.
Circle B is closed in the "off season" and will re-open in February or March. I sent them an email today (they're not taking phone messages) & will let everyone know when info is available. Minna is going & she might like to share a cabin. As soon as I hear from them I'll post the info here and send you a pm.
