Anyone interested in running something fairly close to Fayetteville Tuesday afternoon? Middle Fork White, Lee Cr, Hogeye, or Goose Cr? I'll be at the university most of the morning, but ready to go by about noon...

Tuesday 11/22 Afternoon NWA?
Re: Tuesday 11/22 Afternoon NWA?
Might be a possibility. Not sure how big my route will be tomorrow, but I'd like to if I can finish with enough daylight left.
Hogeye would be awesome, and if you are feeling adventurous, I've been wanting to explore some "extended" pull out spots for a long while now. I'll have to find my old post and google earth placemark file. [edit: Ah, here is the old post]

Middle fork is supposed to be really exciting and has a few rapids that can work ya and test your helmet. Haven't tried it yet. It'd be good to have someone with us that had experience with it.
Never tried Goose creek, don't know anything about it. What's the scoop?
Gimme a yell man,

Unless it rains more the mf will not be problematic, and you do not have to worry about the main current running you through the trees.
Itr does get a little more worrysome around 18 feet(owp) or 8 (bridge).
Its a short run and the road is only as far away as a cow field at all times.
You should hit it up if its still there later this afternoon just to check it out.
Lots of good surfing and big waves!

Hey Tony - If you manage to get out of work early enough, give me a call 479 856 8303... Goose creek is near the fayetteville/farmington border and drains into the illinois river. If it's still running this afternoon, it could be a nice quick class II run...plenty of options today though
