I made my way to Cadron Creek @ 65 today just to piddle around, and happened to meet some guys with kayaks at the ready. They got my interests up and now I'm itching to find more about this waterway.
I was told that the put in was at pinnacle, but after exploring couldn't find a good parking spot at the bridge. I further roamed about to mill creek(? mill something or other) and spotted what looked like private property where there was ample parking, but I'm not one to trespass, and don't want to intrude on someone's property without permission.
After digging around the web, I found that CCO is closed (I think) and the Weidower property is off limits.
Where in the heck do I need, or can put in that doesn't disturb the landowners?
Oh and thank you for this spot on the web. I've been reading the hell out of everything that I have access to for hours now.

Park in the area at the Pinnacle bridge but DO NOT BLOCK THE GATE! You walk down the trail that goes left (not the weedy road to the right) and put in right under the bridge. Help keep the area at the gate picked up from trach if you want to build karma.

OR you can put in at the 65 bridge and take out at the hwy 285 bridge. Both have ample parking & easy put-ins. Downstream is a bit longer float but worth it. I like the water from Pinnacle to 65, but I HATE THE PUT-IN.
My $.02 worth.

Thank you. And I carry out more trash than I bring in, so no issues there.
Back to reading. Thanks again.
